PSAC Scholar-Athlete (2023)

2024 Season Highlights: Lainey Lichota brought steady contributions to the Warriors’ backcourt in 2024, appearing in 50 sets and tallying 86 digs, 17 service aces, and 19 total points. She delivered a season-high 10 digs in a four-set match at Shippensburg (Oct. 5) and added a personal-best 3 aces in a sweep of Caldwell (Sept. 14).

Lichota also chipped in 4.0 points at Queens (Sept. 13) and recorded her only kill of the season in a five-set battle at Shepherd (Nov. 1).

Freshman (2023) (Season Stats): Played in two matches, making one start ... recorded 22 digs, six aces, one kill and one assist ... posted a season high 11 digs and three aces vs. Bowie State (9/2).  

Background: Three-time MAC All-League First Team selection at Port Huron ... holds school records for most aces and digs in a season ... helped the Cardinals capture the 2020 MAC championship ... named to the 2023 All-State Academic Team ... graduated with magna cum laude ... majoring in communications sciences and disorders.
