JANUARY
3 (2016) - WBB - Warriors win 74-73 vs. #13 California, defeating defending NCAA DII national champs on Tyeca Reviere's 3-pointer at the buzzer. It marks ESU's first win vs. a nationally-ranked opponent since 1995.
3 (2018) - MBB - Warriors win 90-79 vs. defending PSAC champion Shippensburg, finishing game on 14-3 run. ESU (9-2, 6-1) would fall at Shippensburg in their 2nd meeting on January 31, before winning 13 straight - including the first Atlantic Region title in school history with an 84-72 win vs. the Raiders in March.
4 (2009) - MBB - Warriors win 52-49 at #4 Gannon on 3-pointer at the buzzer by Aaron Pinckney.
4 (2011) - MBB - Warriors win 88-86 (OT) vs. Mercyhurst, ralling from 11 points in the final 57 seconds in regulation. Freshman guard Will Brown hit three 3-pointers in the final 28 seconds, including the game-tying 3 with 4 seconds left, to force OT.
4 (2013) - MBB - Warriors win 57-55 vs. #16 IUP.
5 (1995) - WBB - #20 Warriors win 52-51 vs. Gannon in the first game with a national ranking in program history.
6 (2017) - MBB - Warriors win 119-87 at Millersville, scoring 100+ points for the 3rd straight game for the 2nd time in program history. It also caps stretches of the most points in 2 games (234) and 3 games (339) by the Warriors.
7 (2006) - WR - Warriors win 21-17 at North Carolina State, part of the NC State Duals.
9 (2008) - WBB - Jackie Yandrisevits, ESU's all-time leading scorer, has a career-high 35 points in a 96-89 (OT) win vs. Moravian.
9 (2016) - MBB - Warriors win 87-60 at #22 West Chester, their largest-ever margin of victory vs. a nationally-ranked team.
10 (2001) - MBB - Juwan Justice makes a school-record 10 3-pointers and scores 34 points in a 75-72 win at
Cheyney.
10 (2010) - MBB - Warriors win 81-73 at Edinboro, improving their best-ever start (at the time) to 13-0. That mark was eclipsed by a 20-0 start in 2013-14.
11 (2003) - WR - Warriors win 25-13 at NC State, 19-15 vs. Duke at the NC State Duals.
11 (2013) - MBB - Whis Grant scores 23 of his 28 points in the 2nd half in an 84-72 win at Slippery Rock.
11 (2014) - FB - James Franklin '95 named head coach at Penn State. Franklin was a Harlon Hill candidate in 1994 and a 2-time All-PSAC East quarterback for the Warriors.
12 (1990) - MBB - Warriors fall 92-88 (OT) at Chaminade, going 1-5 in 7 days in Hawaii - then go 13-5 the rest of the season, including the first
PSAC title in program history, and reaching the NCAA DII Regional championship game.
13 (2010) - MBB - #24 Warriors fall 87-84 at #3
Kutztown, ending a 13-0 start, in the first top-25 match-up in program history.
14 (2015) - MBB - Whis Grant sets ESU's career record for 3-pointers in a 90-73 win at
Cheyney. He finished his career with 268 3's and 1,860 points, 2nd in school history.
16 (2016) - MT&F - William Berry clears 7-0 1/2 in high jump at
Kutztown, becoming the first ESU high jumper, indoors or outdoors, to clear 7 feet.
17 (2004) - WR - Warriors win 23-21 vs. Drexel, coached by Jack Childs, a 1967 ESU graduate and 1995 inductee to the ESU Athletic Hall of Fame.
18 (1995) - WBB - Warriors win 77-71 at Millersville for the 12th straight win during their
PSAC championship season.
18 (1999) - WBB - Marie Schlegel sets the school record with 15 assists in a 62-49 at Centenary.
19 (1991) - WBB - Claudine Simard, who held ESU's all-time scoring record until 2009, scores a career-high 40 points in a 71-60 win vs.
Cheyney.
20 (1993) - WBB - Gaye Chapman produces ESU's only triple-double (16 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists) in an 86-81 win at West Chester.
20 (2010) - MBB - #25 Warriors win 101-96 (2OT) at Bloomsburg, rallying from 15 points with 7:35 left.
21 (1928) - WBB - Warriors win 106-0 vs. Schuylkill College, after posting a 68-6 win on the road against the same team on January 14.
22 (1972) - MBB - John Lehman has 27 rebounds in an 88-76 win vs. Montclair State.
23 (2008) - MBB - Warriors win their 13th straight game with a 72-46 victory vs. Bloomsburg.
25 (1995) - WBB - Stacy Perryman scores a career-high 33 points, one of 6 career games with 30+, in an 89-83 win vs.
Kutztown.
25 (2014) - MBB - Whis Grant scores 31 points and freshman Rasheed Moore has 24 as #6 Warriors win 107-94 at West Chester, finishing the game on a 22-3 run to improve to 18-0.
26 (2013) - WBB - Jessica Martin has a school-record 9 blocks in a 74-55 loss vs. Shippensburg.
28 (2015) - MBB - Warriors win 109-70 vs. Lock Haven, avenging their only regular season loss from 2014 (82-80 at LHU) in a 25-1 regular season.
29 (1927) - MBB - Warriors win 77-17 vs. New Paltz to improve to 9-0 in their first varsity season, eventually finishing with a 16-1 record.
30 (1960) - MBB - Russ Hopewell, a standout in basketball and track and field, scores 46 points in a 68-61 win vs.
Cheyney.
31 (1998) - MBB - Warriors win 80-70 vs. #6 Pitt-Johnstown, their first top-25 win since 1990.
31 (2009) - WBB - DeAnna Rayam goes 6-for-6 from the 3-point line in a 67-54 loss vs. West Chester.
31 (2018) - MBB - Warriors fall 89-64 at #23 Shippensburg behind PSAC record 9-for-9 3-point shooting by Justin McCarthur. ESU (14-5) wouldn't lose again until the Elite 8 - running off 13 straight wins, including 84-72 vs. Shippensburg in the Atlantic Region final on March 13.
FEBRUARY
1 (2014) - MBB - #6 Warriors win 75-67 vs.
Kutztown for their 20th straight win to open the season. ESU finished 30-2 overall, winning its 2nd
PSAC championship in 3 years and advancing to the NCAA DII Atlantic Region final.
1 (2017) - MBB - Warriors win 126-60 vs.
Cheyney, setting a school record for points, and Rasheed Moore becomes the program's 5th 1,500-point scorer. ESU's previous high mark was 122 points vs. Bloomsburg on February 6, 1971.
3 (2018) - WT&F - Marissa Flim wins 60m dash at ESU's DeSchriver Invitational, edging out Nia Ali - silver medalist in 100m hurdles at 2016 Olympics in Rio De Janeiro - 7.18 to 7.19.
4 (2004) - MBB - Warriors win 84-81 at #23 Mansfield, their first win vs. a nationally-ranked team since 1998.
4 (2012) - WBB / MBB - Warriors win a pair of 2OT games at
Kutztown - the only doubleheader with multiple OT games in school history. The women won 56-52 and got big rebounding days from Jessica Martin (20) and Fayola Moise (18). The men followed with a 93-86 win, and would later outlast KU in OT on the road in the
PSAC quarterfinals on their way to the 2nd
PSAC championship in school history.
5 (1927) - MBB - Warriors fall 34-33 vs. Newark Normal after opening 9-0 for the only loss in a 16-1 season in their first year as a varsity program.
6 (1971) - MBB - Warriors win 122-88 vs. Bloomsburg, a school record for points which stood until 2017.

8 (2006) - WBB - Maryellen Onofre sets a school record with 8 3-pointers in a 75-65 win at Columbia Union.
8 (2014) - MBB - #3 Warriors win 93-64 vs. Millersville for the 1,000th win in program history.
8 (2018) - MBB - Warriors win 118-102 vs. Lock Haven in highest-scoring game in Koehler Fieldhouse history, part of a school-record 92.0 points per game which ranked 4th in DII.
9 (1994) - WBB - Warriors win 70-42 vs. Mansfield to open 8-0 in the
PSAC East, and their 9th straight win in a 21-8 season.
10 (1966) - WBB - Warriors win 93-27 at Temple.
10 (2016) - MBB - Warriors win 88-83 at #16 West Chester to complete season sweep of nationally-ranked opponent for 2nd time in program history.
11 (1959) - WBB - Warriors win 88-58 at Misericordia for a school-record 12th straight road win as Lorraine Boyd scores 35 points - one of her two 35+ point games in 1959.
11 (1960) - MBB - Russ Hopewell scores 43 points, his second 40-point game in two weeks, in a 95-64 win vs. Trenton State.
11 (1961) - WBB - Mary Lou Seasock scores 37 points in a season-opening 59-41 win at Hunter.
12 (1974) - WBB - Warriors win 48-28 at Penn State, the 4th of 5 straight wins in the series from 1971-75.

13 (1943) - MBB - Pete Pasko scores 44 points in an 80-49 win at Bloomsburg, the 9th win of a 12-0 season.
13 (2009) - WR - Warriors grapple to 15-15 dual tie at Army.
13 (2013) - MBB - #9 Warriors win 83-58 vs. Mansfield, their 14th straight win, to improve to 20-2.
14 (1942) - MBB - Warriors fall 60-58 at Lock Haven, their only loss in an 18-1 season, after a 12-0 start.
14 (2015) - MBB - Matt Tobin scores his 1,000th career point, becoming the only ESU player with 1,000 points (1,042) and 500 assists (546), in a 91-73 win vs.

14 (2015) - BASE - Warriors win 29-1 vs. Felician in Wilson, NC, setting a school record for runs.
14 (2018) - MBB - Steve Harris goes 10-for-10 from the field and scores 25 points in 94-76 win at Bloomsburg. Harris set ESU season (66.0) and career (63.8) records for field goal percentage and was PSAC Tournament and Atlantic Regional MVP on ESU's first-ever Elite 8 team.
15 (1969) - MBB - Steve Guter scores a school-record 57 points in a 93-77 win vs.
Kutztown.
15 (2007) - WBB - Warriors win 59-47 vs. Bloomsburg to improve to 20-3, the 4th 20-win in school history, finishing 25-4.
16 (2017) - WSWM - Annie Fagan breaks a 39-year-old school record in 50 free, placing 4th in the
PSAC Championships (ESU's highest individual finish at
PSAC's since 2009). Her time of 23.87 lowered the previous mark of 24.13 by Karen Linck in 1978.
17 (1960) - WBB - Warriors win 56-55 at West Chester, starting 5-0 in a 10-1 season.
17 (2018) - MBB - Warriors run to 111-101 win vs. #23 West Chester to maintain share of PSAC East lead, the 5th victory in a 13-game winning streak that culminated in ESU's first-ever Atlantic Region title. Jakwan Jones had 13 of ESU's 27 assists as the Warriors shot 62 percent from the field.
18 (1995) - WBB - Warriors win 67-56 vs. Bloomsburg to improve to 20-4, the 3rd of 4 20-win seasons in school history. The 1995 team won ESU's only women's basketball championship to date.
18 (2014) - WR - Warriors win 27-20 vs. #9
Kutztown, their only win vs. a top-10 DII opponent from 2009-10 through 2017-18.
18 (2017) - WBB - Warriors win 87-61 vs. Bloomsburg for their 8th straight win and longest winning streak in 10 years.
19 (1955) - MBB - Dave "Kelly" MacLaughlin scores 53 points in a 118-74 win vs. Trenton State.

21 (2009) - WBB - Jackie Yandrisevits sets ESU's career scoring record, finishing with 29 points in a 78-76 loss at
Cheyney. She scored 1,784 points in her career to break the mark of 1,733 held by Claudine Simard (1988-92).
22 (1941) - MBB - Warriors win 76-30 vs. Mansfield for their 14th straight win in a 16-2 season.
22 (1975) - MBB - Bob Schlosser sets a school record with 18 assists in an 86-84 win vs. Shippensburg.
22 (1986) - WBB - Warriors win 64-59 at
Kutztown to earn a share of their 2nd straight
PSAC East regular season title.
23 (2007) - WBB - Warriors win 72-48 vs.
Kutztown to finish the regular season with a 24-3 record, including an 11-1
PSAC East mark, for their 2nd straight division title.
23 (2013) - WR - Brendan McKeown wins Super Region 1 174-pound title and is named the regional's Outstanding Wrestler. He knocked off #1 Mike Williams of UNC-Pembroke, the defending DII champion at 165 pounds and a 3-time regional champion, with a 3-2 decision.
24 (1973) - MBB - Warriors win 73-64 vs. Bloomsburg for their 3rd straight 20-win season. They finished 23-4 and won the ECAC South Region title.
24 (2002) - MT&F - Mike Newhard wins the high jump (6-9) for the first of his 3 straight
PSAC indoor titles, and the 2nd of 4
PSAC titles in his career, as the
PSAC indoor championship was contested for the first time. The meet was held at Koehler Fieldhouse from 2001-09.
24 (2006) - WBB - Warriors win 65-64 vs.
Kutztown to claim their first
PSAC East regular season title since 1996, winning their final 6 divisional games.
24 (2013) - MT&F - ESU's 4x400m relay team of Keith Parker-Washington, William Berry, Damien Boham and Mike Saparito win the
PSAC indoor title in 3:17.98, held at Edinboro. The Warriors won their 3rd 4x4 title in 4 years (2010, 11, 13).
24 (2013) - WT&F - 3 Warriors win
PSAC indoor titles - Danielle Smith, Christina O'Connor and Elizabeth Madden - at Edinboro. Smith won the 60m (7.66) and 200m (25.04) for the 2nd and 3rd of her ESU-record 8
PSAC titles. O'Connor won the high jump (5-7 3/4) for the first of 3 straight indoor titles, and first of 5 overall. Madden won the weight (52-1 3/4) for her first of 2 straight in the event.
24 (2018) - WSWM - Warriors finish PSAC Championships with 8 school records - 5 individual and 3 relays - placing 7th for their best finish since 2002.
24 (2018) - BASE - Laine Renaud has 3 HR and 12 RBI, including 2 HR and 8 RBI in the opener and a walk-off HR in the nightcap, in a sweep vs. Saint Rose (23-4, 6-4).j

25 (1979) - WR - Greg Shoemaker (126 pounds) wins his 2nd straight EIWA title, Jim Vargo (167) gives Warriors 2 champions, held at Princeton.
25 (1984) - WBB - Janice Youorski has school-record 24 rebounds, her 5th game with 21 or more that season, in an 85-67 win vs. Glassboro.
25 (2007) - WT&F - Leslie Martin wins pentathlon (3,594 points), earning
PSAC Women's Field Athlete of the Meet, and Amanda Sines wins shot put (42-4 3/4) at
PSAC Indoor Championships at Koehler Fieldhouse.
25 (2007) - MT&F - Iuri Pinto wins the mile (3:50.53) for the first of his 2 indoor mile titles, and first of 3 career
PSAC titles overall. He also anchors the DMR, along with Drew Nesbitt, Jon Reid and Rob Innis, to time of 10:03.18 and 3rd straight
PSAC title. Nesbitt, Innis and Pinto ran on all 3 relays.
25 (2012) - WR - Ed Ebewo wins Super Region 1 title at 197 pounds.
25 (2017) - WR - Dylan Nace (141), Joey Kratochvil (157) qualify for NCAA DII Championships.
25 (2017) - BASE - Dylan Tamecki hits 3 home runs in the nightcap as ESU sweeps Philadelphia U, 9-3 and 21-8.
25 (2018) - MT&F - Christian Castro wins PSAC championship in 60m hurdles in 8.19 seconds, held at Edinboro. He was later named the PSAC Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Year, also placing 5th in the 60m dash and 3rd in the 200m.
26 (1972) - MBB - Led by 16 assists by Kevin Morrissey, Warriors win 74-70 vs. #4

26 (2006) - MT&F - The DMR of Drew Nesbitt, Steve Denninger, Rob Innis and Iuri Pinto wins 2nd straight
PSAC title (10:10.96), with the same group repeating from 2005. It's the 2nd of 3 straight
PSAC DMR titles for the Warriors, in the championship held at Koehler Fieldhouse.
26 (2011) - Jeff Jacobs wins Super Region 1 title at 174 pounds.
26 (2012) - Ian Melhorn (200m - 21.96) named
PSAC Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Meet, and Dan Johnson (heptathlon - 4,866) named
PSAC Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Meet, in
PSAC Championships at Edinboro. Kyle Soden also won the high jump (6-5 1/2). Johnson swept the 2012
PSAC multi's, winning the decathlon title outdoors.
26 (2014) - MBB - #3 Warriors win 74-71 vs. West Chester, completing 25-1 regular season.
26 (2017) - WT&F - Aspen Gaita wins
PSAC indoor title in 60m hurdles, lowering her own conference record to 8.54, held at Edinboro.
26 (2017) - Steve Morgan wins 60m hurdles (8.06) for the 5th of his 6 career
PSAC titles, and Khai Samuels captures the
PSAC championship in the 800m (1:53.73), held at Edinboro. Morgan added the 2017 indoor title to his 2015 crown, and won the 110m hurdles all 4 seasons outdoors (2014-17).

PSAC title in 3 years with Youtz anchoring both. Youtz also won the 400m outdoor title in 2005.

PSAC championships in 10:10.37, held at Koehler Fieldhouse.

PSAC indoor title in high jump (5-7 3/4), the 3rd of her 4
PSAC championships - sweeping the event indoors and outdoors in 2010 and 2011.
27 (2011) - MT&F - Negus Graham named
PSAC Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Meet and MVP, sweeping 200m (21.83) and 400m (47.16) - the first half of the 200/400 double indoors and outdoors. Mike Saparito won the 800m (1:53.19), the 4x400m (Keith Parker-Washington, Ian Melhorn, Greg Pammer, Graham) ran 3:13.91 for the 2nd of 3 indoor 4x4 titles in 4 years, and the 4x800m of Amr Aldeen, Mahmoud Aldeen, Steve Werley and Saparito won in 7:45.11.
27 (2013) - MBB - #20 Warriors win 102-44 vs. Bloomsburg for the 2nd of 3 straight outright
PSAC East titles. The 58-point margin of victory was a school record vs. a
PSAC school, which stood just 4 years until 2017.

PSAC titles, sweeping 2010/11 indoor and outdoor championships. Trina Carito wins pentathlon (3,498 points) for her 3rd
PSAC title, adding to the 2008 indoor triple jump and outdoor heptathlon, and Lauren Ventrella captures the 60m hurdles (8.94) in the
PSAC Championships held at Edinboro.
28 (2010) - MT&F - Chris Reddick named
PSAC Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Meet and MVP, winning 2nd straight
PSAC indoor 200m title (21.24), held at Edinboro. Paul Wagner wins weight throw (66-3 3/4) and shot put (51-9 1/4), his 3rd straight weight throw title and the 5th and 6th of 8 career
PSAC titles. Drew Miller takes triple jump (50-1 3/4), his 3rd straight indoor title and the 4th of 5 in his career. PSAC titles in his career. Iuri Pinto won the 1500m (3:52.69) for his 2nd straight and the last of 3 career titles overall. Drew Miller won the triple jump (48-5 1/2) for the 2nd of 5 career
PSAC titles, and Matt Gallup won the pole vault (16-8 3/4) for the 2nd of 4 in his career.
3 - 2008 - WT&F - Trina Carito wins heptathlon (4,661 points) for the 2nd of her 3 career
PSAC titles, along with the 2008 indoor triple jump and 2010 indoor pentathlon crowns.
3 - 2013 - BASE - Brian Ernst sets an ESU record with 15 strikeouts in a 3-hit shutout in the first game of a sweep (2-0, 4-3) at Millersville. Ernst struck out 10+ for the 4th straight start, and 5th time in 2013 before leading the Warriors to their first
PSAC championship in 42 years the following week.
3 - 2014 - MT&F - Warriors win 3
PSAC championships, held at Shippensburg. Steven Morgan (110H - 14.69) won the 1st of 4 straight outdoor titles in the event, and 1st of his 6 overall. William Berry (HJ - 6-10 1/4) also won his 1st of 3 straight outdoor crowns, and 1st of 4 overall. Travis Toth (Hammer - 198-11) completed a sweep of the weight and hammer in 2014, which he would repeat in 2016 following a redshirt year.

PSAC championships, and 3rd of 5 in her career.
4 - 1928 - BASE - Warriors win 13-5 at
Kutztown for their 11th straight win. After going 8-0 to finish the 1927 season, they won their first 3 to open 1928. The school-record winning streak was matched in 2010 and also in 2016.
5 - 1973 - MTEN - Warriors win
PSAC championship with 35 of 36 points, in the midst of a run of 6
PSAC titles in 9 years. Individual champions were Jim Breech, Bob Nunez, Chuck Ackerman, John Gillespie and Ed Burkholder. Doubles titles were won by Bill Zeeh and Nunez, Breech-Gillespie and Ackerman-Burkholder.
5 - 1979 - WT&F - Warriors win 5 individual titles, plus 4x100m relay, in first-ever
PSAC Championships - hosted by ESU. Sue Carden won the 5000m (18:16.7), the first of 4 straight in the event and first of 7 in her career. Other champions were Laurie Hocker (200m - 26.6), Cheryl Baker (shot put - 45-1 1/2), Jodi Jarrett (javelin - 148-10) and Terry Walker (pentathlon). The 4x100m relay of Hocker, Sharon Sober, Pam Madge and Liz Bodnyk won in 51.3.
5 - 2007 - MT&F - Iuri Pinto wins
PSAC championship in 1500m (3:50.53), his first of 2 straight in the event and the 2nd of 3 in his career, hosted by Shippensburg.
5 - 2012 - MT&F - Dan Johnson wins
PSAC championship in decathlon (6,925 points), after winning heptathlon indoors, in
PSAC Championships at Bloomsburg. The 4x100m of Brandon Mercer, Keith Parker-Washington, Robert Fearon and Ian Melhorn won in 40.98 for its 3rd in 4 years, also winning in 2009 and 2010.
5 - 2012 - WT&F - Danielle Smith wins 100m (12.00, t-1st in photo finish) and 200m (24.60) for the first 2 of her ESU record 8
PSAC championships. Corinne Fitzgerald captures the steeplechase in 10:50.72.
5 - 2018 - MT&F - Warriors 4x100m relay wins PSAC title, the day after Austin Horner (decathlon, 6,765 points) and Darnell Randall (long jump, 23-6 3/4) won PSAC crowns, held at Slippery Rock. The 4x1 was comprised of Pat Monahan, Christian Castro, Ronald D'Eliseo and Andrew Schumacher. Horner's title was ESU's 3rd in the decathlon in 7 years.
6 - 1976 - SB - Warriors win 3-2 (10 inn.) vs. West Chester, improving to 14-2 on the season with their 9th straight victory in an 11-game winning streak. The season culminated with an AIAW national tournament appearance.
6 - 1988 - MT&F - Lance Branyan wins
PSAC championship in decathlon (5,893 points) as a freshman, held at IUP. Branyan won 4 career
PSAC titles, adding the decathlon and javelin in 1991, and javelin in 1992.

PSAC championship with 10-9 win vs. Mercyhurst. TJ Jefferis scored the game-winning goal with 14 seconds left, and Emily Fitzsimmons (3 goals) was named MVP. ESU extended its program-best winning streak to 12 games, improving its record to 17-2 and earning its 1st NCAA DII Tournament trip later that day.

10 - 1977 - SB - Warriors sweep Ursinus, 13-3 and 4-2, for their 9th and 10th straight wins and the 2nd-longest win streak in school history. They finished the regular season and posted a 5-2 record in the EAIAW regional to finish 25-4.

PSAC championships in 4x400m at West Chester, as group of Jackie Babbini, Cheryl Griffin, Jen Eye and Shavanna Ross wins 3:51.91 for ESU's first 4x4 champion since 1985. Eye, Griffin and Ross helped Warriors repeat the following year.

PSAC championship in hammer (202-5) at Mansfield, his 2nd in the event and 4th overall

14 - 1976 - SB - Warriors win 4-1 vs. Utah at AIAW Tournament in Omaha. They posted a 2-2 record in the national tournament and finished 17-4 in their 2nd season as a varsity program.
14 - 1977 - ARCH - Warriors men win 2nd straight United States Intercollegiate national title, hosted by James Madison. Along with the 1976 and 1977 men's titles, the Warriors also won the 1975 mixed title. Joe Barnes notched the first of his 3 All-America honors.
14 - 1977 - MT&F - Pete Heesen wins 3rd straight
PSAC title in steeplechase (9:13.2) and his 4th career title overall, along with the 6-mile crown in 1976. Elbert Price swept the 100 (9.94) and 200 (21.96), Dale Robertson won the 440H (53.06) and would go on to claim the 110H and 400H in 1978, and Ed Guers, Phil Bujalski, Chris Purvis and Barry Purvis won the mile relay in 3:14.86.
14 - 1977 - SB - Warriors win 6-4 vs. West Chester for their 5th straight win at the EAIAW Middle Atlantic Regional at Edinboro. The team was runner-up with a 5-2 record, falling twice to West Chester to open and close the regional, to complete a 25-4 season.
14 - 1994 - WT&F - Melanie Avenarius won the 200m (25.66), and Shannon Kalnoski captured the heptathlon (4,029 points), ESU's first multi champion since 1979, at the
PSAC Championships at
Kutztown.

PSAC Outdoor Athlete of the Meet and MVP, sweeping 200m (21.99) and 400m (47.16) for ESU's first 200-400 outdoor double, and winning his 4th and 5th career
PSAC titles at Slippery Rock. Asher Ashfield won 100m (10.88), following Andrew McCloskey's 100 titles in 2009 and 2010. Josh Hontz won javelin (222-8), ESU's first in the event since Lance Branyan in 1991 and 1992. The 4x400m relay of Keith Parker-Washington, Christopher Walker, Greg Pammer and Graham won in 3:13.91 for ESU's 2nd straight outdoor and 4th straight 4x4 title, sweeping indoor and outdoor relays in 2010 and 2011.

PSAC titles overall. Andrew McCloskey won his 2nd straight 100m title (10.85) and 3rd career
PSAC title overall. Drew Miller won the triple jump (49-5 1/2) for the last of his 5 career
PSAC titles. The 4x100m relay of Asher Ashfield, Ian Melhorn, Chris Reddick and McCloskey won in 40.79, its 2nd straight and 3rd in 4 years (2009, 2010, 2012). The 4x400m reay of Graham, Melhorn, Greg Pammer and Reddick won in 3:14.29, ESU's 1st in the relay since 1987.

PSAC titles in 100 (10.0) and 220 (22.1), and Mark Nejako wins 880 (1:58.7), held at Shippensburg. Nejako would go on to win the 880 and mile in 1951.
16 - 2013 - BASE - Warriors win 8-6 (10 inn.) at Winston-Salem in NCAA DII Tournament opener, their 2nd NCAA trip in 3 years and 3rd in school history. ESU improved to 34-16 with the victory, setting a school record for wins, and finished 34-18.

18 - 2018 - WLAX - #13 Warriors fall 20-14 to #3 Florida Southern in NCAA DII semifinal in Tampa, ending a record-setting 15-4 season which included their 1st regional title, semifinal appearance and NCAA postseason wins in program history after making their 1st NCAA Tournament the previous season.
20 - 2011 - BASE - Warriors win 6-5 (11 inn.) vs. Seton Hill in 1st round of NCAA Tournament, played in Lancaster, for the 1st NCAA postseason win in program history. The only other NCAA appearance to that point was in 1985 (ESU advanced 3 times in 6 years in 2011, 2013 and 2016).

1 - 1973 - MT&F - Lenny Jenkins places 5th in triple jump (50-6) at NCAA DII Championships in Wabash, Indiana, earning the 2nd of 3 straight All-America honors in the event.
3 - 1901 - BASE - Michael Joyce O'Neill hits the 1st pinch-hit grand slam in major league baseball history for the St. Louis Cardinals vs. the Boston Beaneaters. O'Neill played 4 seasons for the Cardinals (1901-04) and one season for Cincinnati (1907). He was one of 4 brothers to play major league baseball, and later coached at Rice University in 1924.
3 - 1991 - BASE - Joel Bennett, standout pitcher and also shortstop for Warriors, drafted in 21st round by Boston Red Sox, becoming the 1st ESU player selected in the MLB Draft. Bennett reached the major leagues in the late 1990's, appearing for Baltimore and Philadelphia.
5 - 1971 - MTEN - Warriors have best-ever regional finish, placing t-1st at NCAA Atlantic Coast Regional held at ESU.

11 - 2009 - BASE - Mark Angelo, All-Region 3rd baseman, selected in 44th round of MLB Draft by Seattle Mariners, becoming the 2nd ESU player drafted and first since Joel Bennett in 1991.
11 - 2016 - BASE - Robert Bennie, All-America outfielder and Atlantic Region Athlete of the Year, selected in 24th round of MLB Draft by Oakland A's. Bennie and Festa (7th round, Seattle) gave ESU 2 players selected in the same draft for the 1st time in program history.
12 - 1971 - MT&F - Ed Long places 2nd in javelin (229-3) at NCAA DII Championships at Sacramento State, the 1st of his 2 All-America honors in becoming ESU's 1st-ever track & field All-America.
14 - 1969 - MTEN - Warriors place t-3rd at NCAA College Division Championships, the top finish in program history. ESU claimed its only 2 program All-Americans in Townsend Gilbert, who reached quarterfinals in singles, and Neil Curtis and Vince McHugh, who made semifinals in doubles. The tournament was hosted by ESU.
14 - 2018 - GEN - ESU finishes 46th in NCAA DII Learfield Sports Directors' Cup, its first-ever top-50 finish. The Warriors sent a school-record 5 teams to NCAA postseason play - men's and women's soccer, field hockey, men's basketball and women's lacrosse. Men's basketball and women's lacrosse both won regional titles.
23 - 2013 - MT&F - Barry Krammes finishes 4th in javelin at U.S. Track & Field Championships at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa - his top finish in 10 U.S. championship meets from 2006-15. Krammes placed in the top 10 six times overall.
JULY
4 - 1952 - WT&F - Janet Dicks wins shot put and discus at US Olympic Trials, held in Harrisburg, at age of 19. Dicks, a 1955 ESSTC graduate, competed in basketball and field hockey collegiately for the Warriors. She had marks of 39-8 1/2 in the shot put and 108-3 1/2 in the discus.
4 - 2008 - MT&F - Barry Krammes leads U.S. Olympic Trials in javelin through preliminary round with mark of 259-1. Krammes placed 6th after the finals and established a PR of almost 15 feet.
15 - 1998 - BASE - Joel Bennett makes MLB debut for Baltimore Orioles, throwing scoreless inning in 14-3 win at Texas.
26 - 1952 - WT&F - Janet Dicks competes in shot put at Helsinki Olympics, placing 18th with mark of 37-6 1/2. She won the US Olympic Trials in the shot put and discus three weeks earlier.

14 - 1940 - MBB - Warriors win 44-34 vs. Ithaca, their first win in a 16-2 season that opened a 3-year stretch of 46-3 from 1940-41 through 1942-43. It also marked the start fo a school-record 25-game home winning streak.
