EAST STROUDSBURG – Senior Eddy Enowbi had a goal and two assists, and East Stroudsburg University outshot Bloomsburg by a 15-5 margin in a 3-0 victory at Eiler-Martin Stadium on Sunday.

Junior Marcus Torgersson and senior Jo Panuccio also scored for the Warriors (9-4, 6-3 PSAC), who earned a third straight conference win. The Huskies (6-8, 3-5 PSAC) were forced to play a man down in the second half after picking up a red card 30 seconds prior to the intermission.

ESU already had a 1-0 lead at that point, with Torgersson opening up the scoring in the 21st minute. The play began with a back foot pass from Enowbi to graduate student Jordon Ellison just beyond the center line on the right side. Ellison then sent a long ball to Torgersson, who headed it past Bloomsburg goalie Brock Gould for his third goal of the season.

Ellison recorded his sixth assist on the play, briefly moving into a tie for the team lead with junior Irvin Zuzic.

Zuzic, though, moved back ahead in the 64th minute, as he led Enowbi into a 1-on-1 situation on the left side of the box. Enowbi slid forward and chipped the ball over Gould for his eighth goal on the year and 18th overall at ESU.

Panuccio added some additional insurance with three and a half minutes remaining, taking a feed from Enowbi and blasting a shot into the top corner for his fifth strike of 2018. Enowbi recorded his fifth-career four point game, and his two assists were a new single-game high.

Senior Will Boerema was required to make two saves in goal to secure his fourth clean sheet of the season.

With the victory, the Warriors have topped Bloomsburg in four consecutive meetings. They are currently third in the PSAC standings with 18 points, three back of first-place Gannon and one behind West Chester in second place.

ESU has one more home game remaining in the regular season portion of its schedule, as the Warriors host Seton Hill for Senior Night at 7 p.m. on Friday.
