OVERVIEW
- ESU (5-0, 2-0 PSAC East) used a 35- point second quarter en route to matching its best start to a season since 2008. The 35-point output in the second quarter on Saturday against Millersville was the second-most in quarter for the Warriors in the last 50 years.
- ESU enters play on Saturday against the Golden Bears having out-scored its opponents 113-21 over the last two games. The big part of that has been the Warriors defense, which limited Millersville to 174 yards of offense and 35 yards rushing last week.
- The Warriors received another strong performance from redshirt sophomore quarterback Jake Cirillo, who went 17- of-23 with 222 yards passing and three touchdowns.

THE HEAD COACHES
ESU - Jimmy Terwilliger (ESU '07)
- Beginning his first full-season as head coach of the Warriors in 2019 after taking over for legendary head coach Denny Douds for the final two games last season.
- Terwilliger went 1-1 to finish the 2018 season as the Warriors defeated Clarion on the road 23-17 on Nov. 10.
- He was named the ninth head coach in program history on Feb. 25, 2019 in a press conference held in Koehler Fieldhouse.
- Terwilliger, who graduated from ESU in 2007 is one of five head coaches in the PSAC who played at their alma mater, along with Chris Weibel (Clarion), Mark Maciejewski (Shippensburg), Gary Dunn (California), and Daniel Day (Seton Hill).
- He is the second Harlon Hill Trophy recipient (NCAA DII's Top Football Player) to coach at his alma mater (Chris Hatcher, Valdosta State - 1994; 2000-06).
Kutztown - Jim Clements (Widener '96))
- Sixth year as head coach at Kutztown
- 42-18 record with the Golden Bears, including a 5-0 mark against ESU
- Overall record of 108-42 as a head coach through 13 seasons
- Served as head coach at DII Delaware Valley for eight seasons; winningest coach in school history (66-24)
WARRIORS FACTS
- Redshirt sophomore quarterback Jake Cirillo was announced on Monday as the PSAC East Football Offensive Athlete of the Week. Cirillo threw for a season-high 280 yards and delivered a career-high five touchdowns against Lock Haven.
- ESU is off to its best start since going 5-0 to open the 2008 season. The Warriors finished 9-2 overall that season and won their final four contests
- ESU currently ranks in the top five of the conference in both offense and defense. The Warriors are averaging 38 points per game while allowing just 15 points per contest.
