EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. — D2Football.com released its Elite 100 Watch List on Wednesday evening, naming Everette Dingle to the First Team and Ashton Blose to the Second Team.
 
The Elite 100 Watch List, which was selected by the staff of D2Football.com with input from numerous sitting head coaches and professional football scout Josh Buchanan, is the publication's version of a Preseason All-America award. The award is broken down into First Team, Second Team, and 25 players listed under Squad as honorable mentions. ESU had two of the six selections from the PSAC, with Kutztown placing three across both teams and Slippery Rock earning one spot on the Second Team.
 
Dingle, who was named to the Elite 100 Second Team after last season, jumped up to the first team heading into 2026. The veteran defensive back enters his fourth season with 26 starts in 32 games, nabbing seven career interceptions. Dingle ranked fourth on ESU last year with 55 total tackles, while his 38 solo tackles led the Warriors.
 
Blose enjoyed a career year during his junior season breakout campaign in 2025, earning D2CCA All-Super Region 1 Second Team honors alongside a spot on the All-PSAC East First Team. The defensive lineman was the team leader in sacks and tackles for loss with 8.5 and 11.0, respectively. Among the conference, his 8.5 sacks were second in the PSAC.
 
The Warriors' two defensive captains lead ESU into its season opener in two weeks, as the Warriors travel to Seton Hill for a road matchup against the Griffins. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 27 from Greensburg, Pa.
