SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Goals from Anton Lysell and Irvin Zuzic lifted the East Stroudsburg University men's soccer team to a 2-0 victory over Shippensburg on Wednesday at David See Field.

ESU (4-2-2, 1-2-0 PSAC East) controlled play for the majority of the match, outshooting Shippensburg (1-3-2, 1-2-1 PSAC East) by a 20-5 margin overall while holding the Raiders to just one shot on target. The Warriors also held a slight advantage on corners, 5-3.

Lysell put the Warriors on top midway through the first half as he beat goalkeeper Bradley Brickman for the first score of the match. The tally was Lysell's third of the season and his first in conference play.

The Warrior defense was strong throughout the opening half as they held Shippensburg without a shot attempt and posted a 6-0 shot advantage in the frame.
