Results (Day 3)
MANSFIELD, Pa. – East Stroudsburg University finished third in the team standings for the fifth straight year on Saturday at the 2019 PSAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Mansfield. The Warriors have recorded a top-three finish in each of the last seven seasons.
ESU notched a season-best time of 41.69 to win the 4x100-meter relay. Senior

Jalen Bailey recorded the eighth fastest time in program history for the Warriors.
The Warriors also added a pair of third-place finishes in the 4x400-meter and 4x800-meter relays. In the 4x400, it would be freshman

Khai Samuels recorded the fourth fastest time in program history in the 4x800 (7:44.53) after running the event for the first time this season.
Sophomore
Dan Amari placed second for ESU in the pole vault with a mark of 15-0, while sophomore
Dominic Walton tallied a third-place finish in the shot put with a mark of 52-7 1/2. Freshman
Justin Miller added his second top-five finish for ESU in as many days after placing fourth in the triple jump with a mark of 46-3 1/2.
In the 400-meter hurdles, Schumacher recorded a personal-best time of 54.03 to place sixth and improve his mark that ranks ninth all-time in program history. Bari would run a personal-best and place seventh in the 400-meter dash with a time of 49.61.
Thomas and senior
Mike Matrisciano both placed in the 110-meter hurdles for the Warriors. Matrisciano finished seventh with a time of 15.07, while Thomas placed eighth with a time of 15.24.
Senior
Jonathan Hummel added a personal-best for the Warriors to place 13th in the javelin with a mark of 171. Junior
Noah Lockwood placed seventh in the shot put with a mark of 48-9, while sophomore
Jordan Cruise ran to a 13th-place finish in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:07.55.
The 2019 NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships will take place, May 23-25, in Kingsville, Texas.
