EAST STROUDSBURG – A pair of goals separated by just 30 seconds in the opening half propelled the East Stroudsburg University men's soccer team to a 7-0 non-conference victory against Felician on Wednesday afternoon at Eiler-Martin Stadium.

ESU (2-0-1) opened the scoring against the Golden Falcons in the 14th minute of action as senior midfielder Marcus Torgersson finished off a feed from junior Oliver Lundberg at the 13:14 mark. The Warriors also held a 16-0 advantage in shots on goal.

Senior Javaughn Hussett tallied his first goal of the season at the 13:44 mark of the first half to put the Warriors up 2-0 over Felician. The Warriors would take their 2-0 advantage into the half as ESU held an 8-1 advantage in shots.

The Warriors turned on the offense in the second half against the Golden Falcons as junior Anton Lysell tallied his second goal of the season at the 58:51 mark to make it 3-0. That score would hold as Felician goalkeeper Alex Ficarra kept the Warriors off the scoreboard until senior Sergio Bortolon finished off a feed from freshman Hunter Paone to make it 4-0 in the 83rd minute.

Freshman Bradley Turocy would record the first two goals of his collegiate career for ESU in the 86th and 90th minute of action. Both of Turocy's goals were set-up by Lysell, who finished the contest with four points.

ESU finished the contest with a 23-4 advantage in shots and took all four corners that were awarded on the afternoon. Redshirt sophomore goalkeeper Evan Miele (2-0-1) recorded the win in net for the Warriors despite not facing a shot on frame, while Ficarra (0-3-0) suffered the loss after making nine saves in net for Felician.

The Warriors hit the road on September 14 for a non-conference matchup against the Jefferson Rams at 12 p.m. ESU opens PSAC action at home on September 17 against West Chester at Eiler-Martin Stadium beginning at 5:30 p.m. The Golden Rams are currently the top-ranked men's soccer team in Division II.
