EAST STROUDSBURG – East Stroudsburg University tied the game in the final minute of regulation and won it in the second overtime period on a late bucket from
Kitt Najee Walls, as the Warriors prevailed in a 92-90 victory over Kutztown on Wednesday night in front of a raucous crowd at Koehler Fieldhouse.
Kutztown's Tarojae Brake knocked down a three-pointer from the wing to give the Golden Bears a four-point advantage, 72-68, with 1:18 left in regulation. On the ensuing possession,
Carlos Pepin came down with a big offensive board for the Warriors off a missed three-pointer and put it back up and in to cut the deficit to two with just over a minute to play.
The Warriors forced a missed three by Kyree Generett on the other end, and Walls corralled the long rebound before dishing ahead to a streaking Pepin, who slammed down an emphatic dunk to tie the contest at 72-all with 32 seconds showing on the clock.
After a timeout by the Golden Bears, they took the shot clock down to the final seconds and Brake drove the lane and attempted a game-winning layup, but

In the first extra period, the Warriors led by three with 2:46 remaining, but were held scoreless on their next three possessions as Kutztown gained momentum. Wesley Butler hit a pair of free throws with 16 ticks left to give the Golden Bears an 81-78 advantage.
On ESU's next possession, Rodriguez' three from the corner hit off the iron but Pepin pulled down another huge offensive board for the Warriors. He dished out to Walls, who made the extra pass to
Montrel Morgan at the wing. Morgan found himself wide open and connected on the clutch three in the final seconds to send the game into double overtime.

On the next possession, ESU worked the shot clock down and Walls made a move to the lane and finished in the paint to give ESU a 92-90 advantage with 16 seconds remaining.
