EAST STROUDSBURG – Erica Molinaro, a 2020 graduate of East Stroudsburg University and a three-year letterwinner as a pitcher for the Warriors, has been named the assistant coach for the ESU softball program by head coach Jaime Wohlbach.

Molinaro was most recently a graduate assistant at La Salle University since August 2020, working with the pitching staff and assisting in the recruiting process. She has also been a coach for the Pocono Predators since May 2019, and has worked for US Sports Camps since June 2017.

Molinaro, a native of Stroudsburg, appeared in 34 games and made 12 starts in the circle for ESU from 2017 through 2019. She graduated from ESU in August 2020 with a bachelor's degree in psychology, and a minor in sports and exercise psychology. She was a two-time member of the Dean's List.

"I am very excited to be joining the coaching staff at ESU and returning to the Warrior family," said Molinaro. "It is an honor to be a part of this program, and to have the opportunity to coach on the field at Creekview Park that I played on both as a Warrior and as a Little League softball player. I look forward to working with Coach Wohlbach, and contributing to the success of our program and student-athletes."

"Erica will bring her passion and enthusiasm to the Warriors softball coaching staff," said Wohlbach. "Her recent duties on the coaching staff at La Salle, as well as her experience as a club coach and camp clinician, will be valuable for the success of our program."

"We welcome Coach Molinaro back to ESU and look forward to the many contributions she will make to the Warriors softball program," said Dr. Gary R. Gray, ESU director of athletics.
