LOCK HAVEN -- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced on Thursday that four East Stroudsburg University men's soccer student-athletes were named to all-conference teams.
Juan Carlos, Lucas Marques and Colby Raymond earned All-PSAC First Team accolades, while Bradley Turocy garnered All-PSAC Second Team honors. The four Warriors accounted for 23 goals, 17 assists for 63 total points.
Also announced on Thursday, the College Sports Information Directors of America announced that Juan Carlos and Colby Raymond were named to the NCAA Division CoSIDA All-District Team.
Carlos, a defender from Alicante Spain, appeared in 13 games, making 12 starts. A key factor on the defensive end for the Warriors, Carlos also contributed two goals and an assist offensively. An excellent student, Carlos was named CoSIDA All-Academic All-District honors in both 2021 and 2020 as a business management major.
In his lone season as a Warrior, Marques made an immediate impact on the pitch. A midfielder from Rio de Janeiro, Marques posted six goals and six assists offensively as a midfielder, as one of three Warriors to start in all 17 games. His 18 points rank third on the team. Always a threat to score, Marques' first career goal in Eiler-Martin Stadium was featured on SportCenter's Top 10 Plays. Marques earned PSAC East Athlete of the Week after recording a game-winning goal against nationally-ranked Bloomsburg in September.
In his first collegiate season, Raymond proved himself to be one of the most dynamic playmakers in the league, registering a team-best 21 points on six goals and nine assists. His nine helpers rank third in the conference and his 21 points are 10th best in the PSAC. The Kingwood, N.J. native posted 11 points in his first three contests, with two goals and two assists against Felician and two goals and an assist against Staten Island.
Turocy earned All-PSAC Second Team for the second consecutive year. He led the Warriors with nine goals, which ranks second in the PSAC East and fifth overall in the league. His 19 points rank second on the team, recording multi-goal games against Felician, Lock Haven and Bloomsburg.
