ATHENS. W.Va. -- After earning All-PSAC honors earlier this month, the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) announced on Tuesday that Lucas Marques and Colby Raymond were named to the D2CCA Atlantic Region Second Team. The duo combined for 12 goals, 15 assists and 39 points in 2021. 

Marques was named to the All-PSAC East First Team as a midfielder. The Rio de Janeiro, Brazil native registered 18 points on six goals and six assists. He tied for second on the team with six goals and was second on the Warriors with six assists. Three of his games were game-winning goals, including a goal in the 88th minute that propelled ESU to a 3-2 victory over No. 22 Bloomsburg for the programs first win over a nationally-ranked team since 2011.

Raymond previously earned All-PSAC East First Team honors and CoSIDA Academic All-District. The sophomore playing in his first collegiate season due to COVID-19 made an immediate impact on the pitch. He led ESU with 21 points, scoring six goals and nine assists, ranking third in the PSAC in assists. He becomes the first Warrior to earn All-PSAC, CoSIDA All-Academic and D2CAA All-Region in the same season since Christian Bukowski earned the trifecta in 2016. Raymond joins the exclusive list of Warriors that include Bukowski, Danny Drago (2010, 2008), Michael Kane (2010), and Toric Robinson (2009, 2008) as Warriors to earn all three honors during the same season.

The Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) encourages and promotes Division II athletics and high standards of sportsmanship as important elements of higher education. The CCA is a key communications link among the conferences as they discuss views, policies and regulations that impact Division II intercollegiate athletics and works closely with the NCAA as a communications channel to NCAA Division II member colleges and universities.
