EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – The East Stroudsburg University men's track and field team earned wins in six different events Saturday at the 15th annual All-American Meet at Eiler-Martin Stadium.
Running Highlights
In his first 3000m steeplechase run of the season, senior
Teddy Mostellar took first with a personal-best time of 9:51.68.
Senior
Casey Ellis was victorious in the 1500m for the Warriors after clocking a personal-best time of 4:10.44.
Caleb Carney led the Warriors in the 100m hurdles with a first place after clocking a time of 15.49 seconds while
Daniel Daley (15.78) finished third and
Nasir Kyle (16.12) took fifth. In the 400m hurdles, Kyle was third with a time of 59.26 seconds.
Freshman
Raul Esteves continued his impressive spring for the Warriors by winning the 200m dash with a personal-best time of 22.21 seconds.
The Warriors finished as the runner-up in the 4x100m relay after
Austin Nice,
Sean Roberts,
Raul Esteves and
Jared Williams clocked season-best time of 42.85 seconds. ESU had a similar result in the 4x400m relay as the Roberts, Esteves, Bass and
Zandrew Bowe finished second with a season-best time of 3:24.55.
In the 400m dash,
Sean Roberts was the runner-up with a time of 51.47 seconds and
Lawrence Bass finished right behind in third after clocking a time of 51.89 seconds.
Junior Josh D'Agnostino kicked off the day for Warriors with a fourth place finish in the 5000m run after clocking a time of 16:14.00.
Also earning a fourth place finish for ESU was
Alejandro Paez in the 800m with a personal-best time of 1:59.81.
Field Highlights
The Warriors earned the top two spots in the hammer throw as
Daryn Blackwell took first with a mark of 50.60m and freshman
Isaac Almoney was the runner-up with a personal-best toss of 47.52m.
Almoney and Blackwell followed that up by finished second and third in the discus with throws of 41.42m and 38.86m, respectively.
Almoney closed out his extraordinary day with a first place finish in the shot put with a personal-best throw of 13.43m.
Nice also competed in the field events for the Warriors where he finished fifth in the long jump with a mark 6.15m.
In the pole vault,
Grant Fox was second after clearing the bar at 4.11m and
Robert Plumb took third with a height of 3.96m.
Romanley Turnier and
Carlos Pepin were fourth and fifth in the high jump after both clearing the bar at 1.90m.

The Warriors return to competition next Saturday when they travel to Shippensburg to compete in the Paul Kaiser Classic beginning at 8:30 a.m. from Seth Grove Stadium.
