GARDEN CITY, N.Y. – The East Stroudsburg University women's cross country team got their 2021 season underway on Friday as they competed at Adelphi's Panthers XC Invite.
Sophomore Keely Arndt picked by up right where she left off last spring as she was the Warriors' highest finisher. Ardnt finished ninth overall in the 5k race after clocking a time of 20:22.60.
After missing the spring season, senior Kylie Stangle placed 11th with time of 20:24.90. Junior Samantha Brawner came in 40th with a time of 22:10.10 and in her collegiate debut, freshman Olympia Curley-Katrishen took 84th after clocking a time of 24:43.90.
The Warriors are back in action on Saturday, Sept. 18 when they travel to Kutztown for the DII Challenge.
