EAST STROUDSBURG – With just a few minutes remaining in the second half and down a man, Abdulla Nuredini sent a swift free-kick 25-yards out into the back of the net to lift the East Stroudsburg University men's soccer team past Lock Haven, 1-0, on Wednesday evening inside Eiler-Martin Stadium.
With the victory, the Warriors (6-7-1, 5-3-1) move into a tie with Bloomsburg for first-place in the PSAC East standings, while Lock Haven drops to fifth-place with a 5-6-3, 3-3-3 conference record.
Notables
- The Warriors held a slim edge in shots (16-14) and shots on goal (6-5).
