SHEPHERDSTOWN, W. VA. – Despite outshooting Shepherd 26-5, the East Stroudsburg University women's soccer team fell to the Rams by a score of 2-1, on Saturday afternoon at the SU Soccer Complex.
The Warriors drop to 8-3-2, 6-3-2 in PSAC action, while the Rams (4-6-4, 3-6-3) pick up their first-ever win over ESU.
Delaney Bittner recorded both goals for SU, with Sara Hohn tallying an assist on the initial goal of the contest in the 4th minute. Caitlin Nicholls registered her first-career goal shortly after the second half started to knot the score at 1-1, but Bittner struck again for the game-winner in the 73rd minute of action to lift Shepherd to the win.
