Men’s Soccer Ends in Scoreless Tie With Millersville

MILLERSVILLE – The East Stroudsburg University men's soccer team played to a scoreless tie against Millersville on Saturday afternoon at Pucillo Field.

With a pair of regular season games remaining, the Warriors move to 6-8-2 overall and 5-3-2 in the PSAC East, while the Marauders go to 9-3-5 and 5-2-2 in the conference.

ESU continues to battle for a postseason berth, sitting in fourth place in the PSAC East with 17 points. Bloomsburg holds the top spot with 22 points, followed by West Chester (20 points) and Millersville (19 points).

How it Happened
  • The first half was even as the Warriors outshot Millersville, 6-5, but failed to put the ball on frame
     
  • In the second half, the Warriors opened strong and recorded two shots on goal in the first 10 minutes. However, the Marauders outshot the Warriors, 13-6, over the final 45 minutes, but the ESU defense kept Millersville of the scoreboard.
