LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – After successfully converting all four of his kicks in a close-win against Bloomsburg, the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) announced on Monday afternoon that kicker Devin Bartholomew was selected as the PSAC East Special Teams Athlete of the Week.
Bartholomew made field goals from 49 yards and 40 yards out, and both PATs. He is now 52-52 over the past two seasons on extra-point attempts, extending the Warriors' consecutive made streak to 94, dating back to Nov. 10, 2018. He also recorded two touchbacks on kickoffs against Bloomsburg.
On the season, the Parkland High School alumnus is 14-17 on field goal attempts (82.4%) and is 5-of-7 from beyond 40 yards, along with a mark of 9-10 from inside 40 yards.
The weekly honor marks the second time this season and third time in his career that he has been named the conference's special teams player of the week.
Bartholomew ranks 18th in NCAA Division II in field goal percentage, second in field goals per game (1.75) and 35th in total points scored this season.
ESU (3-5, 2-3 PSAC East) returns to action on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Seth Grove Stadium against Shippensburg (3-5, 2-4 PSAC East).
