EAST STROUDSBURG – The second-ranked East Stroudsburg University field hockey team notched their sixth consecutive win as the Warriors cruised past Frostburg State, 5-0, on Saturday afternoon at Whitenight Field.

The Warriors wrapped up their five-game homestand by improving to 13-1 on the season, while the Bobcats fell to 7-10 overall after battling their fifth straight nationally ranked opponent.
Following a pair of ranked victories last week, the Warriors returned to No. 2 in the Penn Monto/NFHCA Division II National Coaches Poll.

- Parker broke a scoreless tie at the 27:30 mark with her fifth goal of the season to put ESU up 1-0. The senior notched her second goal of the afternoon in the third quarter to push the Warriors' edge to 3-0.
- Lewis stretched the Warriors' lead to 2-0 less than two minutes after Parker's goal as the senior tallied her eighth score of the year
- Meijs found the back of the net for the second time in her career, as the freshman cleaned up a rebound to make the Warriors advantage 3-0
- Seniors Oliva Breen (6) and Madison Kline (4) as well as freshman Carmen van Kuringe (2) collected assists
- Junior goalkeeper Amy Supey did not face a shot on goal in her 43 minutes of action as well as sophomore Emma Valinote, as the duo combined for ESU's 10th shutout of the year. Supey continues to lead the PSAC and NCAA DII with a 0.34 goals-against average and 0.882 save percentage.
- ESU controlled possession for a majority of the afternoon while also holding a huge advantage in shots (28-2), shots on goal (17-0) and penalty corners (14-0)
- In her 38th season, head coach Sandy Miller collected her 472nd career victory today, now needing 15 more to move into third all-time in Division II

27:30 | After having a number of scoring chances in the first half, ESU broke through to make the score 1-0. The Warriors passed the ball around off a penalty corner, with Kline ultimately dumping it to Parker, who fired a quick shot for the game's first goal.
29:13 | Despite having her initial shot saved, Lewis corralled the rebound before blasting the ball into the bottom right corner of the cage to stretch ESU's lead to 2-0
