LOCK HAVEN – On Thursday, the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced that a trio of East Stroudsburg University volleyball players earned All-PSAC East honors. Anna Coulter was selected to the All-PSAC East First team, while Makayla Baca and Kaylee LoPresto were voted on the All-PSAC East Second Team.

Coulter

Coulter had a breakout freshman campaign as she leads the team in points per set (3.16) and blocks (88), while ranking second in kills (239) and aces (28).

Among PSAC rankings, the Hershey, Pa. native is seventh in total blocks and 10th in hitting percentage (0.282). Coulter recorded double digit kills in nine different matches, including a season-high 18 at Shippensburg, and was honored as the PSAC East Defensive Athlete of the Week on Sept. 12.

Coulter joined Kutztown's Adrianna Derstine and West Chester's Brynn Dreisbach as the only freshman to garner First Team honors.

Baca

Baca made an immediate impact in her first season wearing the red and black as the junior libero leads the team in digs (459) and is tied for second in aces at 28.

The Santa Fe, N.M. native had double digit dig performances in 24 matches, including a season-high 31 against West Chester. Baca ranks fifth in the PSAC in digs per set (4.88) as well as sixth overall in total digs.

LoPresto

LoPresto took her game to the next level this season as the redshirt junior leads the Warriors in kills with 258, while second in digs with 250. Dating back to 1996, LoPresto is the 20th player in program history to record 250 kills and 250 digs in a season.

The Litchfield Park, Ariz. native ranks third in the PSAC in total kills and notched a career-high 16 against IUP.

LoPresto has recorded eight double-doubles, which included a 10 kill and 11 dig effort in the Warriors’ PSAC Quarterfinal victory last night and was named the PSAC East Athlete of the Week on Aug. 29.

ESU kept its season alive after defeating Shippensburg in four sets on Wednesday night in the PSAC Quarterfinal round. The Warriors advance to play No. 1 (W) Gannon on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
