EAST STROUDSBURG – East Stroudsburg University field hockey senior midfielder Lia Parker was tabbed as this week's NFHCA Division II Offensive Player of the Week, the organization unveiled on Wednesday.
After being named the PSAC Athlete of the Week, Parker garners the national honors following a 2-0 week for Warriors where the senior recorded five points on two goals and an assist.
Parker becomes the first Warrior this season to receive a weekly award from the NFHCA as well as the first ESU offensive player to garner national recognition since Celeste Veenstra on Nov. 20, 2019.
The Warriors return to Whitenight Field on Saturday for their final home game of the regular season against Mercyhurst at noon. ESU will honor their three seniors prior to the game.
