LOCK HAVEN –  The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced on Thursday afternoon that East Stroudsburg University women’s soccer team members Rebecca Kotula, Brienn Seaman and Teagan Marshall were all honored on All-PSAC East squads. Kotula and Seaman were voted on the All-PSAC East First Team, while Marshall was selected as a member of the All-PSAC Second Team.

Kotula paced the Warrior offense that ranked fourth in the PSAC with nine goals and five assists for 23 points in an impressive season.

The Wyomissing product tied for second in goals in the conference with Bloomsburg’s Nicole Varano and tied for seventh in points for 23 total points which leads the division and ranks second only to Gannon’s Sarah Fails’ 25.

In conference games, Kotula recorded at least one goal against every PSAC East school, exceptions  for Bloomsburg and Shippensburg. She tallied two goals against West Chester, who currently ranks second in the country in the latest United Soccer Coaches Poll, with the Golden Rams conceding just six goals in 2022.

The all-conference honor is the first of her career, as she enters her senior season with 13 career goals and six assists for 32 points in 36 games as a Warrior.

Seaman was reliable defender all season, often clearing potential dangerous shots. She was one of five Warriors to start in all 19 games in 2022.

She was a key factor in ESU allowing just 1.11 goals per contest.

Along with booting away opposing offensive possession, the native of Brick, N.J. often contributed on free kicks insertions and put eight shots on goal as a defender.

Marshall, a midfielder, also started in all 19 games for ESU. On the season, she registered a goal and three assists for five points, which ranks third on the team.

She tallied three key assists which all came in conference matchups against Millersville, Bloomsburg and Kutztown.

Marshall put an impressive 62.5 percent of her 32 shots on goal to put pressure on the opposing goalkeeper.

ESU completed its season on Saturday with a 9-7-3 record, after a tough 2-1 loss to No. 2 West Chester in the PSAC Quarterfinal round.
