BROCKPORT, N.Y. – Seniors Hannah Barbush and Helen Bradley was two of seven East Stroudsburg University field hockey players named NFHCA Division II "Scholars of Distinction" for the fall 2021 semester, released on Wednesday.

Hannah Barbush and Bradley receive the honors for the fourth time in her career while Maddy Barbush, Nicole Krozser and Abie Sorokas were each recognized for the second straight year.

Also recognized on the "Scholars of Distinction" list, which requires at least a 3.9 cumulative GPA through the fall 2021 semester, are sophomores Grace Lesh and Emma Valinote.

ESU has now placed at least two student-athletes on the list for the 10th straight year.

24 Warriors were previously recognized on the NFHCA National Academic Squad on February 9. The NFHCA National Academic Team awards will be announced on February 21 and the National Scholar-Athlete on February 23.
