EAST STROUDSBURG – For the second consecutive week, East Stroudsburg University graduate student Ryan Weise has been named the PSAC East Athlete of the Week, announced by the league office on Monday.

By earning back-to-back weekly honors, the Allentown, N.J. native is the first Warrior since Imani Brown (Jan. 30 – Feb. 6, 2017) to accomplish that feat.

In the Warriors final week of the season, Weise averaged 25.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 4.5 steals while playing 41.8 minutes per game.

She scored 51 points across two games and against Lock Haven, Weise drained a game-winning three-pointer with .7 seconds left on the clock to lift the Warriors to a 59-56 victory.

Weise scored 21 points to go along six rebounds, seven assists and four steals in the win over the Bald Eagles and matched her career-high with 30 points in ESU's season finale at West Chester. She also added five rebounds, seven assists and five steals.
