EAST STROUDSBURG -- With a dominant 18-6 win over Bloomsburg on Senior Day, the sixth-ranked East Stroudsburg University lacrosse team closed its season with a 15-1, 11-1 PSAC record, earning a PSAC Co-Championship and earning the first-seed in the East Division of the upcoming PSAC Tournament.
The Warriors, who hold the tiebreaker over West Chester (15-1, 11-1) due to goal differential, earn a PSAC Quarterfinal bye and will head to top-seed in the PSAC West Seton Hill on Fri., May 6. ESU will play the winner of Tuesday's first round matchup between IUP and Mercyhurst.
Bloomsburg closes its season with a 10-7, 6-6 conference record.
The ESU Athletic Department honored seniors, Maddie Heck, Chelsea Allie, Kiki Fitzpatrick, Madison Bagatta and McKenzie Gaghan prior to the regular season finale.

Notables
- Emily Mitarotonda paced the Warriors with four goals and three assists, causing a turnover and grabbed three draw controls. She now has 63 goals and 17 assists on the season for 80 points. Her 63 goals rank third most in a single season.
- Gianna LeDuc posted three goals and two assists, while Kiki Fitzpatrick also tallied three goals and distributed one helper. LeDuc's 84 points in a season ranks 3rd most in a single season to date, while Fitzpatrick is a point behind her at 83, ranking fourth most in one campaign for all Warriors. Fitzpatrick also caused two turnovers on the day and collected five draw controls.
- Joining Mitarotonda, LeDuc and Fitzpatrick with three-plus goals was Maddie Heck, who registered three goals on her senior day.
- Madison Bagatta added ESU's first two goals and an assist, earning five draw controls. Sophia Graffeo also tallied two goals.
- Lauren Neufeld rounds out the point talliers with a goal and one assist.
- Defensively, Kayleigh Pokrivka caused three turnovers and scooped a ground ball.
- McKenzie Gaghan made five saves on the day, in her ninth win of the season.
- The Warriors outscored its opponents 252-99 in 16 regular season games in 2022, recording an average score of 15.75 to 6.19.
How it Happened
- Bloomsburg took the first lead with a free position goal in the second minute of play, but ESU retaliated with nine consecutive goals, featuring scores from Heck (3), Bagatta (2), Mitarotonda (2), Heck, Graffeo and LeDuc, as the Warriors grabbed a 9-1 advantage.
- BU scored the next two, slicing the lead to 9-3 late in the first half. Fitzpatrick scored her first goal of the game with 13 seconds remaining in the second quarter, as the Warriors held a 10-3 lead at the break.
- Both teams traded goals top opend the second half, as ESU took control with a 7-1 run, expanding its lead pass the 10-goal running clock threshold with an 18-5 advantage with 6:12 remaining. With 19 seconds left, BU's Kelsey Kilgallon recorded the final goal of the game for the final score of 18-6.
