SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Freshman Ethan Flickinger tallied the lone goal of the game in the 16th minute of action, lifting the East Stroudsburg University men's soccer team to a 1-0 road win at Shippensburg on Saturday afternoon at David See Field.
The Warriors (3-4, 2-0 PSAC East) pick up its second conference win in as many games, while the Raiders (2-2-1, 0-2-1)

- Flickinger registered his second goal and his second game-winning goal of his freshman season, after finding the back of the net in his PSAC debut against Shepherd earlier this month.
- ESU goalkeeper Brayden Evans made two saves in the second shutout of the season for the first-year. For the Raiders, Cody Wiioughby made four saves in the loss.
- The Warriors led 14-7 on shots and 5-2 on shots on goal. Shippensburg led 5-3 on corner kicks.
- Trevor Paone led ESU with a pair of shots on goal.
How It Happened
- 64' | On a throw in, Flickinger thew the ball deep into the offensive zone. A Raider was able to put a head on the ball. As the ball rolled back towards Flickinger, the Harrisburg native rocketed a shot past a Warrior and Raider into the twine for the lone goal of the game.
