DARTMOUTH, Mass. – The East Stroudsburg University women's cross country team returned to competition with a 30th place finish at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday.
Racing in the 5k event at the Robert Dowd Cross Country Course, the Warriors were led by freshman Kelly Martin who recorded a top-100 finish in 88th with a time of 19:50.03.
Freshman Megan Elgrim notched the next-best finish for ESU in 161st after crossing the line in 20:54.31, while sophomore Alycia Smith was not far behind in 171st with a time of 22:05.97.
Senior Samantha Brawner took 212th after clocking a time of 22:03.17 and sophomore Jada Williams was 230th after finishing in 22:55.29.
