SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Despite putting up more shots and shots on goal, the East Stroudsburg University women's soccer team suffered its first loss of the season, falling to Shippensburg, 1-0, on Saturday afternoon at David See Field.
The Warriors (5-1-1, 3-1-1-) look to bounce back against Millersville on Wednesday, while the Raiders (1-3-2, 1-2-2) pick up their first win of the season.
Shippensburg's Lauren Ocker tallied the lone goal of the contest on an assist by Olivia Stephen in the 64th minute for the eventual game-winning goal.
