MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – Led by four double-figure scorers, the No. 19/22 East Stroudsburg University men's basketball team outlasted a late comeback attempt by Millersville with a 86-75 road win over the Marauders on Saturday afternoon at Pucillo Gymnasium.
The Warriors improve to 14-1 and 8-1 in the PSAC with its sixth consecutive win, while the Marauders drop to 7-8, 4-5 in league action.

Carlos Pepin led the Warriors with 19 points on 9-of-11 shooting, and came up just short of his seventh consecutive double-double with nine rebounds. He added three assists and registered a steal and a block in 29 minutes of work to cap another impressive week of work.
Notables
- Mike Millsip tallied a season-high 15 points off the bench and made six of his eight field goal attempts. He added three rebounds. Jaelen McGlone and Lakeem McAliley each added 12 points, with McAliley stuffing the stat sheet with four rebounds, two assists two steals and a block.
- Justin Paz added eight points and three assists, while Mike Ramos posted six points.
- ESU set a season-high by making 32-of-52 field goal attempts, which includes a mark of 70 percent from inside the arc (28-40). With ESU shooting 4-of-12 from 3-point land, ESU used 44 points in the paint and made 18-of-24 free throw attempts to supplement the offense.
- The Warriors led the Marauders in rebounds (27-24), blocks (3-1) and points off turnovers (26-15).
- Millersville made exactly 50 percent of its attempts (28-56) and were led by Drew Stover's game-high 22 points (10-of-12 FG).
- The win for ESU at Pucillo Gymnasium is the program's first since March 2, 2019, when the Warriors downed 'Ville 85-77. The win snapped a two-game losing streak to the Marauders, with MU picking up both wins a season ago.
How it Happened
- The Marauders were able to take a five-point lead at 15-10, as the Warriors countered with a 21-5 run over the course of 7:19 of game clock. During that stretch, ESU made 8-of-12 shots from the field and held the Marauders to shoot just 2-of-10 and forced four 'Ville turnovers.
- With ESU leading 31-20 with 6:03 to go in the first half, the Marauders used a 13-4 sprint to slice its deficit to just two points at 35-33 in favor of the Warriors. ESU would not relinquish its lead in the first half, scoring the final seven points with a Pepin 3-pointer, a pair of Paz free throws and a Millsip layup to take a nine-point lead into the Pucillo Gymnasium locker room at 42-33.
- After Millersville sliced the deficit to single digits at 44-46, ESU used a 21-10 scoring run to take a game-high 19-point advantage at 65-46. During the 6:17 of game clock, Pepin registered eight points, as ESU shot 8-of-10 from the floor and made all five of its free-throw attempts.
- The Marauders never quit, using a 26-15 run to get within nine points of ESU at 83-75 over a stretch of 9:49 of game clock. Despite ESU shooting 7-of-10 during that stretch of time, it was ESU's eight turnovers in that span that gave Millersville life.
- Time was the Marauders' enemy, as with just over a minute remaining, ESU scored the final three points via free throws to take home an 86-75 win back to the Poconos.
