KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) released its academic award recipient lists for the 2025-26 season, honoring the ESU men's basketball team as a whole and seven individual student-athletes for their academic success.
The Warriors as a team earned Academic Excellence Award recognition from the NABC, while
Carson Howard,
Christian Pierre-Louis,
Ethan Millirons,
Jalen Pichardo,
Lual Manyang,
Saleem Payne, and
Terrell Pitts were named to the Honors Court. The Team Academic Excellence Awards highlight programs that finished the 2025-26 year with a team GPA greater than 3.0. To be eligible for the Honors Court, student-athletes must be juniors, seniors, or graduate students with a GPA of 3.2 or higher.
The NABC named over 2,300 student-athletes to the Honors Court across all levels of college basketball, with seven of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference's (PSAC) eight recipients being Warriors. Additionally, more than 400 programs were recognized with the Team Academic Excellence Award, with East Stroudsburg being the lone PSAC honoree. All seven of ESU's Honors Court student-athletes were also named PSAC Scholar Athletes, as Millirons, Pierre-Louis, Howard, Pichardo, and Pitts made the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team as well. Additionally, the latter three were named to the first PSAC Winter Academic All-Conference team.
