LOCK HAVEN – On Monday, East Stroudsburg University volleyball middle blocker Anna Coulter was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week, the league office announced on Monday.

The sophomore guided ESU to a 2-0 week which saw the Warriors win their 13th consecutive game and remain a perfect 8-0 in the PSAC East as she averaged 3.50 kills, 1.33 digs, 0.83 blocks and 0.50 aces per set to go along with a .514 attack percentage (21 kills, 3 errors, 35 attempts).

In a three set victory over Holy Family, Coulter produced nine kills, three digs, three aces and a pair of blocks. The Hershey native returned on Friday night with a match-high 12 kills to go along with five digs and three blocks in a sweep of Kutztown.

Coulter currently leads the PSAC in hitting percentage with a .406 clip, while ranking second in points per set (4.16), ninth in aces per set (0.46), 10th in kills (3.14) and blocks per set.

Coulter collected the fifth weekly honor of the season for ESU as Makayla Baca (Defensive Athlete of the Week – Sept. 11, Oct. 16) and Taylor Haan (Athlete of the Week – Sept. 11, 18) were both previously honored twice. It marked the second PSAC award for Coulter in her career as she garnered Defensive Athlete of the Week honors on September 12, 2022.
