LOCK HAVEN – For the first time in her career, East Stroudsburg University field hockey midfielder Nicole Krozser was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday.

In a 2-0 week for the ESU, Krozser paced the Warriors offensively as the graduate student scored three goals. Krozer found the back of the cage twice in a 5-1 victory over #1 Shippensburg and recorded her team-high 10th goal of the season in a 3-0 win at Mercyhurst. Krozser currently ranks tied for fifth in the PSAC in goals and eighth in points (21).

The Boonton, N.J. native collects ESU's fourth weekly award from the PSAC this season as seniors Madison Kline (September 12) and Amy Supey (October 3 & 10) were previously honored.

This afternoon, ESU travels to #6 West Chester for a marquee PSAC matchup against the Golden Rams at 4 p.m. from Vonnie Gros Field.
