GENEVA, N.Y. – The East Stroudsburg University field hockey team tied for the most selections with nine on the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division II Scholars of Distinction list, the organization unveiled on Thursday.
Junior Grace Lesh and sophomore Nicole Krozser garner the honors for the third consecutive year.
Sophomore Allyson Forman alongside six freshman including, Julia Cooper, Emma Friend, Kerry Kaufman, Kayla Minkon, Jessica Seidel and Charlotte Simon, each receive recognition for the first time in their careers.
University of Mount Olive also placed nine student-athletes on the Scholars of Distinction list this year.
The Scholars of Distinction program recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.9 or higher through the first semester of the 2022-23 academic year.
The 2022 National Champions continue their excellence on and off the field as 24 Warriors were most recently recognized on the NFHCA National Academic Squad back on February 9.
The NFHCA National Academic Team awards will be announced on February 21 and the National Scholar-Athlete on February 22.
