YORK, Pa. – Highlighted by a pair of East Stroudsburg University top-10 times by
Avery Fohring and
Jenna Johnson, the East Stroudsburg University swimming team closed out day three of the PSAC Swimming Championships in 11th place with 209 points.
Jenna Johnson posted the eighth fastest time (1:01.64) in program history in the preliminary round of the 100-yd backstroke, while
Avery Fohring tallied a time of 2:13.21 in the 200-yd butterfly, which ranks fourth fastest among all Warriors.

How it Happened – Session 5
- In the preliminary rounds, Madison Tafe (32nd, 5:34.46) and Samantha Grayauskie (34th, 5:35.43) both competed in the 500-yd freestyle.
- Jenna Johnson took 21st of 36 competitors in the 100-yd backstroke, besting her seed time and posting a time of 1:01.64. The mark ranks eighth all-time at ESU, as she advanced to the 'C' Final
- In the 200-yd butterfly, Avery Fohring took 13th place among 24 foes, clocking a time of 2:14.54. She improved her personal-best time, which ranked fifth in program history at the time.
How it Happened – Session 6
- ESU opened the night session with a time of 1:56.77 in the 200-yd medley relay. Samantha Grayauskie, Mia Estep, Naihomy Garcia and Gabby Ciesla represented the Warriors in the 12th place finish.
- Johnson qualified for the finals with her prelim finish, finishing 22nd overall with a time of 1:01.92.
- Fohring was able to post an even better mark in the 'B' final of the 200-yd butterfly, as her time of 2:13.21 ranks fourth fastest in program history. In the event, she took 12th place in the finals.
