VIRGINIA BEACH, VA. – On his way to earning All-America Second Team honors, freshman Donavan Anderson took 12th in the triple jump on Saturday at the NCAA Division II Indoor Championships inside the Virginia Beach Sports Center.
After entering the field seeded t-12th in a field of 16 total athletes, Anderson recorded a 12th place finish after leaping 14.54m (47-8 ½).
The Bergenfield, N.J. native became the first Warrior in program history to earn multiple All-American honors at an indoor championships. Additionally, Anderson is the 20th two-time All-American in school history.
Yesterday, Anderson garnered All-America Second Team honors in the long jump after taking ninth with a mark of 7.22m (23-8 ¼) on his fourth attempt.
