SHIPPENSBURG – The East Stroudsburg University women's tennis team fell to Shippensburg, 6-1, in a PSAC East match on Tuesday at the Robb Sports Complex.
The Warriors drop to 0-9 overall and 0-6 in the conference, while the Raiders move to 2-8 on the season and 0-4 in the PSAC East.
Reigning PSAC Athlete of the Week Elina Joronen continued her dominating stretch for the Warriors as the graduate student pushed her record to a perfect 6-0 at No. 1 singles with a 6-2, 6-2 win over the Raiders' Corrine Markovich.
