ESU Lacrosse Ranked No. 13/8 in latest ILWomen/IWLCA and Nike/USA Lacrosse Rankings

EAST STROUDSBURG – After defeating Shepherd by a score of 15-5 in its lone action on the week, the IWLCA and USA Lacrosse Magazine announced that the Warriors are now ranked No. 13 in in the ILWomen/IWLCA Poll and the No. 8 in the Nike/USA Lacrosse Rankings, the organizations announced on Monday.

The No. 13/8 Warriors (11-2, 7-1 PSAC East) look to avenge on of its two losses this season on Wednesday, when ESU hosts No. 1/1 West Chester at 3:30 p.m. for its Mental Health Awareness Game. WCU defeated ESU, 16-5, earlier this season.
The Warriors enter the matchup on a six-game winning streak, where they outscored its opponents 84-39.  ESU sports the 17th best scoring defense in the country, limiting opponents to just 8.69 goals per game.

ESU battles West Chester on Wednesday and close the home regular season schedule on Saturday against Shippensburg at Whitenight Field for Senior Day.
