EAST STROUDSBURG —East Stroudsburg University lacrosse head coach Xeni Barakos-Yoder has returned from medical leave after welcoming her second child in February, she announced on Wednesday.
ESU assistant coach Rachel Ward served as the interim head coach since the start of the 2023 season, leading the Warriors to an 8-2 record in Barakos-Yoder's absence. Ward's lone losses came to the current No. 1 and No. 2 teams in the IWLCA Coaches Poll in West Chester and Pace.
Barakos-Yoder guided the No. 12/9 Warriors to a 10-9 win over Kutztown on Wednesday afternoon.
No. 12/9 ESU returns to action on Saturday against Millersville at Whitenight Field. The opening draw is set for Noon against the Marauders.
