EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – After a standout performance flipping the field, the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced Monday that East Stroudsburg University redshirt freshman punter Adam Noll has been named the PSAC East Special Teams Athlete of the Week.
Noll averaged 59.7 yards per punt on three attempts, recording punts of 49, 61, and 69 yards against Lock Haven. He pinned the Bald Eagles inside their 20-yard line twice, with his two longest punts landing at the 7- and 11-yard lines.
The Robesonia, Pennsylvania, native boosted his season punting average to 40.83 yards following the performance.
Noll has helped the Warriors rank third in the PSAC and 14th nationally with a net punting average of 39.72 yards.
The honor is the first for Noll in his career and marks the fifth time ESU has earned a conference weekly honor this season. He joins Tahir Mills (Offensive), Tyriq Lewis (Offensive), Everette Dingle (Defensive) and Justin Cook (Special Teams) as Warriors to be honored by the conference.
Noll and the Warriors will aim for their fifth consecutive win on Saturday, when ESU travels to Shippensburg for a 1 p.m. kickoff.
