SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The East Stroudsburg University volleyball team (15-7, 5-5) fell in three sets (25-17, 25-18, 25-17) against PSAC opponent Shippensburg (14-11, 8-2) on Saturday inside Heiges Field House.

How It Happened
Set 1 (25-17): ESU scored the first two points of the set, but SU responded by taking a 4-3 lead, which they would not relinquish as they went on to win the set.
Set 2 (25-18): The Raiders went on a 6-2 run to take an early lead. In response, the Warriors fought back to take a 10-9 lead. However, the rest of the set did not go ESU's way as SU took control with a 9-0 run, leading to their second set victory.
Set 3 (25-17): The Raiders opened with an 8-0 advantage, which proved to be the difference in the set. The Warriors made a push thanks to three kills by Oberlin-Pope during a 6-0 run, bringing the score within three, but they ultimately were unable to come back.
