NEW YORK, N.Y – The East Stroudsburg University men's track & field team wrapped up the Scarlet Knight Open on Saturday at The Armory as select Warriors competed in their respective events.
Running Highlights
Miguel Charlery just missed qualifying for the finals in the 60m as the sophomore took 10th place in the prelims with a personal-best time of 6.990 to move into third place all-time in the ESU record books.
Similar to Charlery, senior Kobe Jenkins was just shy of advancing to the finals in the 60m hurdles as the Harrisburg native took ninth in the preliminaries with a time of 8.51.
Field Event Highlights
Competing against a number of Division I throwers in the championship shot put, junior Cole Gorham finished third overall with a throw of 16.91m (55-5 ¾) on his final attempt.
Jaden Johnson continued to impress in the triple jump as the sophomore took third place after leaping 14.56m (47-9 ¼) on his first attempt of the day.
