PITTSBURG, KS. – East Stroudsburg University's junior thrower Cole Gorham continued his remarkable indoor season by earning Second Team All-America honors in the shot put on day two of the NCAA Division II Indoor Championships at the Robert W. Plaster Center.
On his way to a 10th place finish in the shot put, Gorham launched the spherical ball 17.12m (56-2) on his final attempt.
The top eight individual finishers are named first team All-Americans, while finishers 9-12 are named second team All-Americans by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
The Kingston native became the 29th All-American in ESU men's track and field program history on Saturday afternoon and just the second student-athlete in the shot put for the indoor championships. Dominic Walton was the most recent Warrior to accomplish the feat back in 2020.
