PHILADELPHIA – The East Stroudsburg University men's track and field had a strong showing on day two of the Penn Relays on Friday at Franklin Field.

The 4x400m relay team highlighted the day as the combination of Ryan Ditty, Jaylen Morrison, Zandrew Bowe and Tyler Boone placed second overall in the Eastern section of the prelims with a time of 3:17.85, which marks the fastest time of the season for ESU.
Field Highlights
Cole Gorham earned a runner-up finish in the shot put as the junior launched the spherical ball 17.06m (55-11 ¾) on his fourth attempt. Gorham was leading the event until the final throws when Maryland's Rhys Allen recorded a mark of 17.10m (56-1 ¼) to capture the title.
Earlier in the day, Gorham posted a third place finish in the discus as the back-to-back PSAC Field Athlete of the Week notched a mark of 52.96m (173-9) on his fourth attempt.
Jack Gorham claimed a ninth place finish in the long jump as the junior leaped 6.96m (22-10) on his second attempt of the afternoon.
In the high jump, Aaron Sanchez cleared a season-nest height of 1.96m (6-5) to finish in a tie for 13th with N.C. Central's Jonathan Raijon-Koger and freshman Drew Domurat took 20th at 1.91m (6-3 ¼).
On his way to a 16th place finish in the triple jump, sophomore Jaden Johnson recorded a mark of 13.97m (45-10) on his second leap.
