KUTZTOWN, Pa. – After allowing its first goal of the season in the first half, the No. 21 East Stroudsburg University women's soccer team responded with the equalizing goal in the 58
th minute in a 1-1 draw with No. 8 Kutztown on Wednesday evening at Keystone Field.
Both the Warriors (3-0-1, 2-0-1 PSAC East) and the Golden Bears (4-0-1, 2-0-1 PSAC East) remain undefeated with the tie.

McKenna Chisholm headed in her first collegiate goal in the second half to tie the contest. The Ocean City, N.J. native received a perfectly placed free kick from senior
Emily Wineburg. Chisholm became the fifth different goal scorer for the Warriors this season.
- Kutztown's Maura Day scored the first goal against ESU this season in the 14th minute of action. The Warriors shutout streak to start the season lasted a total of 284 minutes.

Emmy Clarkson, the reigning PSAC East defensive athlete of the week, made five saves. KU's Cassidy Howes registered a single save.
- KU led in shots (16-8), shots on goal (6-2) and corner kicks (6-5).
- The Warriors played as a nationally-ranked team for the first time since 2019.
