MONSEY, N.Y. – The East Stroudsburg University tennis team opened its fall dual slate on Sunday afternoon, falling to Dominican (N.Y.), 5-2, at Manny Welder Park.
The Warriors fall to 0-1, while the Chargers (1-3) pick up their first win of the season.
Notables
- Claudia Ermina and Gianina Speranza registered a 6-4 win at No. 2 doubles, but the Chargers secured the doubles point with wins at No. 1 doubles (6-0) and a 6-1 triumph at No. 3 doubles.
- ESU earned two points in singles action, with Ariel Kelsick and Louise Boyer-Vida earning wins by retirement at No. 1 and No. 3 singles.
