How it happened

Set 1: Bloomsburg scored the first two points of the match just before the Warriors scored three in a row from a kill and two service aces. Bloomsburg remained ahead with ESU holding within three points. A bad set from the Huskies tied the score at 20 apiece just before they took the first set off a 5-1 run.

Set 2: The teams traded points in the beginning until a kill from Kelly Crites sparked a 19-3 run.

Set 3: Coulter's kill put the Warriors on the board first, 1-0. An attack error tied the score at four apiece just before the Warriors scored eight consecutive points to jump ahead, 11-4. ESU capped the third set with a six-point run that included three kills from Coulter and three attack errors.

Set 4: Birtcil's two kills put ESU ahead 3-0 to begin the set. An attack error put the Warriors up by seven, 12-5, before the Huskies pulled within three at 13-10. Martinez posted a kill at 22-19, before the Huskies scored five in a row to take their first lead of the set at 24-22. Coulter had two kills to tie the score at 26 each. However, a kill and an attack error by the Huskies forced the fifth set.

Set 5: The teams tied the score five times just before a Coulter block, a service ace from Hannah Robson, and another kill from Coulter sealed the Warriors' win, 15-12.
