EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – The East Stroudsburg University women's volleyball team (11-4, 1-0 PSAC) secured a dominant home victory on Friday evening, sweeping Millersville (4-10, 0-2 PSAC) in three straight sets at Koehler Fieldhouse. ESU took the match by scores of 25-21, 25-16, and 25-17.
The Warriors put together a highly efficient offensive performance, hitting
.271 as a team over the match, racking up 44 total kills while holding Millersville to a .091 hitting percentage. Defensively, ESU was solid, registering 56 digs and combining for 11.0 total blocks (2 solo blocks, 18 block assists).
Top Performers:
Anna Coulter led all players with a match-high 18 kills, hitting an impressive .441 over three sets. She also contributed defensively, totaling 2 solo blocks and 5 block assists, pacing the Warriors with 22.5 total points.
Kata Kovacs tallied a team-leading 20 assists, adding 1 service ace.
Kyra Bishop added 15 assists.
Marta Leeland anchored the defense, leading the Warriors with 18 digs.
