LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - East Stroudsburg University's Brooke Droege has been named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East Defensive Athlete of the Week, announced by the league Tuesday afternoon.

During the Warriors opening weekend at the Bowie State Tip-Off Classic, the Columbia, Pa. native led ESU to two wins. 

On Saturday against Bowie State, Droege led the team in scoring with 17 points, eight rebounds, while recording two steals and two blocks. Against Shaw University, she scored in double figures again with 18 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Brooke was a defensive force over the weekend as she set a new career high in steals with six on Sunday.

Through both games she combined for eight steals, three blocks, 15 rebounds, 35 points, and averaged 37 minutes a game.
