EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. -- The East Stroudsburg women's volleyball team defeated Indiana (Pa.) in straight sets to advance to the PSAC Championship. Set scores were 26-24, 25-19, and 27-25.
The Warriors are now 25-5 overall and extend their win streak to 13 matches. ESU also remains undefeated at home, 13-0.

Kelly Crites led the Warriors with 13 kills, had one service ace, and posted four total blocks. Romina Martinez added eight kills, while Anna Coulter added six kills, totaled seven blocks, and had three service aces. Harry Berry and Kyra Bishop combined for six total blocks.
How it happened
Set 1: Both teams traded points early before ESU pulled ahead 6-5 on a Bishop service ace. IUP used a seven-point run to get ahead by six, 12-6. Another four-point run from the Crimson Hawks extended their lead to eight points, 19-11. The Warriors got back within four at 21-17 off of a Coulter kill and block, a Crites kill, and a service ace from Coulter. Three kills from IUP, a block from Crites/Berry, and a kill from Crites put ESU within five, 24-19. ESU responded with a huge seven-point run to steal the opening set, 26-24. Highlighting that run was an Allison Birtcil kill, two solo blocks from Coulter, a block from Coulter/Birtcil, and a finishing kill from Martinez.
Set 2: IUP struck first, but ESU moved ahead 4-3 with a Coulter kill and a Coulter/Crites block. The teams continued exchanging points as the Warriors held a 12-9 edge. ESU used a four-point run to get ahead by six, 20-14. Highlighting that run was a Birtcil kill, a Crites service ace, and consecutive kills from Martinez. With the score at 23–19, ESU closed out the set behind a Martinez kill and a Bishop/Crites block.
Set 3: A service ace from Marta Leeland opened the scoring for ESU. After trading four-point bursts, ESU led 5-4. Three straight kills from Crites and a Berry/Birtcil block pushed the advantage to 10-7. Two back-to-back kills from IUP gave them the lead at 11-10. The Warriors responded with three kills in a row to reclaim the advantage, 13-11. The Crimson Hawks countered with a six-point run to move ahead 16-13. A Bishop/Coulter block knotted the score at 18-18, and the teams continued to trade points until ESU reached set point at 24-23. Two IUP kills shifted momentum to 25-24, but a Coulter kill and two IUP attack errors sealed the 27-25 win for the Warriors.
