INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The East Stroudsburg women's volleyball team was listed in the initial NCAA Atlantic Regional Rankings, with teams listed in alphabetical order Wednesday afternoon.
The NCAA regional rankings ultimately determine the team's selected to the NCAA DII Women's Volleyball Tournament. Wednesday marked the first set of regional rankings released by the NCAA, with two sets of numerical listings to follow on November 12 and November 19. The NCAA Selection Show takes place Monday, November 24 at 7:30 p.m. and will stream live on ncaa.com.
At the time of the release, ESU's overall record is 19-5 and their in region record is 19-4. The Warriors are currently on a seven match win streak and look to extend it this weekend with two road matches at Millersville and West Chester.
The Warriors (19-5, 9-1) are currently second in the PSAC East behind Shippensburg (18-6, 10-0), while Gannon leads the PSAC West (19-5, 10-0).
